Background:
Born to Custom Officer, it was natural for Salloni to rate education as her top priority. But extra curricular activities never took a backseat. At an age when kids played in the garden, she preferred reciting Sridevi's dialogues. While in school, Salloni participated in every drama competition that came her way. Along with academic finesse, grew her interest in acting and she performed in inter-collegiate plays.
While still in college, she enrolled for an acting course in Ashok Kumar's Academy and was involved with a theatre group called Kala Sansad. But till then, acting just meant fun.
It was only after graduating in 1st class in Psychology from SNDT that Salloni felt she could never be satisfied if her career were anything but acting. At this cross road, the fact that she came from a well educated family did not seem to matter, as her parents supported her decisions at every step.
